A pilot spun out of control while landing at the Pitt-Greenville Airport on Sunday.
According to airport officials when the pilot touched down, he lost control, and damaged part of his single engine plane. The landing gear, propeller, and right wing tip were damaged.
Airport authorities say while the man is a seasoned pilot he just bought the plane last week; however, he wasn't injured in the accident.
The FAA will be out sometime this week to investigate the mishap.
