Railroad Crossing Scheduled To Open

Greenville officials say Thursday is the day 14th Street is scheduled to re-open at the railroad crossing along Beatty Street.

Work on a railroad connector to cut down on long wait times at railroad crossings forced the closure of this portion of 14th St. The crossing closed in February, and the re-opening in mid-March was delayed by bad weather.

    It's still amazing how something that is supposed to take a week can snowball into almost two months.
