A suspect wanted in a Pitt County shooting has been caught by the U.S. Marshal Violent Fugitive Task Force in Georgia.
Thirty-two year-old Torrie Everette was transported back to the Pitt County Detention Center Tuesday where he is now charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill.
The Pitt County Sheriff's Office says Everette went to a residence on January 14th and began firing a handgun. One bullet hit a man in the back. He underwent surgery and was later released from the hospital.
