Over 11,000 Dollars Donated To The Greenville Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House and kids across Eastern Carolina received a wonderful gift courtesy of events surrounding a three year-old.

The Ronald McDonald House accepted a check for over 11,500 dollars Saturday afternoon.

The proceeds were from donations made to the Race for Aydan in Disney world back in January.

Aydan Parrett is a three-year-old from Goldsboro who suffers from a rare disorder known as Trisomy 8.

Trisomies are very rare genetic disorders characterized by a chromosome aberration.

The little one's parents were told their son would only live for five to six months.

The Race For Aydan has donated over 30,000 dollars to the Greenville Ronald McDonald House over the past three years.

My Aydan Parrett is an amazing survivor! I am so excited to see this article, and I think it is wonderful that so many people have helped to donate and support the Ronald McDonald House which helps support my family during hospitalizations! Josh and Danielle you are both wonderful parents and are doing a great job raising that precious little boy!
