Local Golfers Excited About Tiger Woods Return

Local golfers say they're excited that Tiger Woods is making his return to the links.

Woods says he'll return for the Masters beginning April 8Th.

Golfers we talked with in Greenville say they're ready for tiger to return. Harry Fields says, "I may watch the next tournament he's in, I haven't watched one since he left." W.H. Hathaway says, "He makes golf, he creates so much interest, he's so competitive."
Bob Campbell commented, "He's probably one of the greatest things that happened to golf, as far as stability and things accomplished and also influence on young people, alot of people never even thought about golf until him."

These avid golfers say they don't think what Tiger Woods did was right-- but that he should be forgiven.

we all know what tiger did was wrong, but i'd like to see all of you guys turn down girl after girl while touring around the world. its easy to judge in your high chair. i dont think little kids are going to grow up and want to go have affairs now, if anything they will see the negative attention that bad things can bring. give the guy a break and let him redeem himself.

He needs to get his private life in order and also focus on golf. The endorsements will return in a few years if he stays out of trouble. He could be a good turn around story in a few years if his character improves.

Who cares when or if Tiger is returning to golf, if his wife should take him back, if he will be a better man, will his endorsements return, etc.... All I know is there are a lot people without work, homes, food, money, medicine and other basic things. Are we so shallow and bored with our own lives that we have to get excited because Tiger is coimng back. The people of this world are sad and need to get a life of their own. Again, who cares!

Who cares? Yes he can put it in the hole better than anyone else (and yes I meant golf) but I really don't care.

Tiger Woods didn't do anything illegal so why should the PGA ban him? Michael Vick is an animal and he is back playing football. Tiger Woods has been amazing for golf, enough said.

I think that the pga should have him sit out for a year because of his poor judgement and behavior along with the terrible example he has set for the young people of the nation. What kind of message does his actions show the young people and future leads of the nation....

Where would Tiger be now without the original $40 million that Nike gave him thereby assuring him of success on the PGA tour? Answer: JUST ANOTHER ALSO RAN!!!
