Arrghhh...A Pirate Proposal!

It was a surprise proposal in the east, and it was all caught on tape.

Hunter Foster thought she was meeting her friend to go shopping at the Greenville Mall when they came across a person dressed as a pirate.

Hunter's friend Kristen, who shot the video, wanted to get a photo of Hunter with the swashbuckler.

After the picture, the pirate, who was actually Hunter's boyfriend Andrew Grodner, fumbled through some pockets.

He eventually found the ring and proposed. And she said yes!

Their wedding date is June 12th.

Grodner is an economics professor at ECU.

Nice going you all! That's a classic right there. True pirate fans Andrew and Hunter are! Eric, I agree with you with it not being during football season, it being a good idea. Dave, this is NO JOKE. Stop being so jealous. You make me laugh with that jealousy you're showing.

Funny that this story made the news. My son proposed at half time of an ECU basketball game a few weeks ago. He got some high school cheerleaders to hold up signs and proposed. They are even having a purple and gold wedding. I hope this couple live happily ever after.
