The 2nd Annual Heart Expo In Greenville

one in four women in the U.S. die from heart disease. It's a startling statistic that prompted close to 700 people to come out to the Greenville Convention Center Saturday.

The 2nd Annual Heart Expo kicked off at 9 Saturday morning and wrapped up Saturday afternoon.

Several exhibits showed people how to make heart healthy meals and also gave out free samples. Others displayed what poor lifestyle choices can do to your heart and body.

Doctors and cardiologists from Pitt County Memorial Hospital were on hand giving out free advice to prevent heart disease.

Two heart to heart teas were also held with Dr. Noel Peterson and tipsy teapot owner Delia Luizza.
