Ice Fever Taking Over Greenville

One week into the 2010 Winter Olympics and the fever is spreading across the country and here in Eastern Carolina.

Businesses are benefiting from all the excitement.

It's called ice fever.

Many people around Greenville are heading to Bladez On Ice to cure their need for ice skating.

Nikki Scott who runs the ice rink with her sister, says since the Winter Olympics started in Vancouver one week ago, hundreds of people have strapped on their skates and hit the ice.

Ice skating is also a relatively inexpensive alternative to most activities.

Depending on your age, the cost of ice skating is under 10 dollars a person.

Albert: Hahahahahahahahhaha! Your own sport, on your own rink, in a game that means everything to the jealous little brother Canucks = loss. LOL. By the way, how's that medal count looking Canucks? Forever the wannabe's.
