Another Pitt County school employee is under arrest, accused of stealing money from the school system. It's the second such arrest during this school year.
Greenville police have charged Adrienne Collier with embezzlement. Collier was the secretary for the coordinator for the Health Sciences Academy. Police say she falsified purchase orders and invoices to steal nearly $2,200 between last June and December.
Collier was released from jail after posting a $5,000 bond.
Collier's arrest is the second school employee to face embezzlement charges this school year. Back in September a former school bookkeeper was accused of stealing over $49,000 from Wintergreen Primary School.
