Christ Community OFW Pastor: "Fire Was God's Work"

Five church members got quite a scare Friday night when a barn adjacent to the church they were in caught on fire.

It happened after 7 Friday night at the Christ Community OFW Baptist Church on Crawford Street in Bethel, Pitt County.

Right now fire investigators are working to figure out how the unused barn caught fire.

Crews were able to get the flames out in under ten minutes, but the barn is destroyed. The church wasn't damaged and no one was injured.

The Church Pastor wasn't upset about the fire but instead called it God's work and was happy no one was hurt.

" investigators are working to figure out how the unused barn caught fire". The title of the article says it plainly....This is the work of God. Remember the Ten Commandments? He made the hail burn and let's not forget that tornado made of fire he created to hold Pharaoh's men at bay. He also destroyed Sodom & Gomorra with fire & brimstone.

I think God knew better than to play with matches.. Who said God wasn't cool, huh? He lights barns on fire just to scare people!
