Pirate Basketball Player Due In Court, Facing Drug Charges

An ECU Pirate basketball player is due in court Tuesday, on drug charges.

Darrius Morrow was arrested in December for simple possession of Marijuana at his apartment in Greenville.

Morrow was suspended from the ECU basketball team last month, because of a violation of team rules. He had been a started for the pirates before his suspension.

We'll let you know what happens in court.

    What kind of drug charge? There is a big difference in selling bricks of heroin and a lil bag of weed.

    B Frank, why do they have drug test?..well a drug test lets the drug tester know if a person is doing drugs...let me know if you have any other questions. To Mike...ECU's basketball program last for about 4 months per year not a week.

    Stuff like this makes for a week basketball program at ECU. The coach needs to bounce him permanently from the team.
