Car Washes Busy Place Following Ice & Snow

Car washes are seeing more business lately because of the snow and ice.

People spent Monday afternoon spraying the salt and slush off their cars.

The Pirate Car Wash in Greenville saw an uptick in business after this weekend's messy roads. The owner says washing the salt brine chemicals off your car can protect the metal components of your vehicle's undercarriage, along with your car's paint job.

Some of the area's car washes are offering deals this week to help entice people to clean their cars.

That salt on the roads will do a job on our cars. We need to get the salt off the cars ASAP. Have you seen cars from up north? They are all rusty because of the salt.

Why wash it now it is going to rain tomorrow and all the contaminants are still all over the roads. People need to wait a few more days before they wash, LOL.
