The Department of Correction says a former Pitt County sheriff's deputy is listed in medium custody classification, and remains in administrative segregation in Raleigh.
Michelle Pollard is serving a six to eight month sentence at the North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women in Raleigh.
The D.O.C. placed the prison photo of Pollard online Monday.
Pollard, who resigned just weeks before her indictment last summer, was convicted of two counts of obstruction of justice and one count of not performing duties of her office. Prosecutors say the former deputy tipped off the subject of an ongoing drug investigation.
There is no projected release date listed yet online for Pollard.
