Pollard Listed In Medium Custody At Women's Prison

The Department of Correction says a former Pitt County sheriff's deputy is listed in medium custody classification, and remains in administrative segregation in Raleigh.

Michelle Pollard is serving a six to eight month sentence at the North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women in Raleigh.

The D.O.C. placed the prison photo of Pollard online Monday.

Pollard, who resigned just weeks before her indictment last summer, was convicted of two counts of obstruction of justice and one count of not performing duties of her office. Prosecutors say the former deputy tipped off the subject of an ongoing drug investigation.

There is no projected release date listed yet online for Pollard.

You guys should google her name and find out WHY the press pays so much attention to her. There are some extremely serious allegations pending.

Could someone explain to me what did she exactly do? I find that this whole story is ridiculous and maybe I am just not reading it right.

Why all of a sudden a retired Democrat deputy is running against a sitting Democrat sheriff in a Democratic primary? It just doesn't normally happen. Of course, there appears to be nothing normal about Pitt County or Greenville any longer. Maybe the Greenville Chief of Police should throw his hat in the ring too! As far as this poor woman, she is paying a high price for a small mistake.

To those who wish to just move on and are sick of this story, why the heck did you open the story and decide to make a post. Man you are such idiots.

AS MUCH AS I HATE TO ADMIT IT, I WOULD RATHER HEAR AND SEE A STORY ON DOGS AND CATS INSTEAD OF CONTINUING TO HEAR ABOUT THIS POOR WOMAN WHO MADE A MISTAKE AND IS NOW PAYING FOR IT BY HER LOSS OF FREEDOM. IT IS OVER, LET IT GO. HOW ABOUT SHOWING SOME VIDS OF PEOPLE SLEDDING ON SNOW. SOME GOOD NEWS FOR A CHANGE. WHAT YOU REPORT IS DEPRESSING SUCH AS SHOOTINGS, ROBBERIES, STABBINGS, RAPES, MURDERS, EMBEZZLEMENTS.FIND SOMETHING GOOD TO REPORT.

Maybe she can have time now to read the Bible from cover to cover, develope a relationship with Jesus and find a worthy purpose for the rest of her life.

I wonder if she learned anything from this?
