TJ, fair post and we respect you for it. We do look beyond our political prejudices, however, we want to make sure the opportunity you have, is as fair as what we had. What our government is doing, will not only cost you more in taxes, it will extend to any children you have. This is about the government, not the people they work for, us. That is the differance. They pass laws, on their agenda, not ours. What is important, is not what we want, what they want. George Washington has rolled in his grave. They want to remove you freedoms for their needs and not yours. the point, most parents, uncles and aunts, want you to have the oppportunity to do it on your own. The government wants you to owe to them, even if you work hard and play by the rules. Theirs in not rules, it is laws. Look up the signifgance of Brown winning in Mass, that should give you the light here. Government is out of touch even in the home of the teaparty....

I remember being in college, oh man was I a liberal. But not long after I married and had a child all that liberalism went away. Reality set in like such things as rent, transportation, food, milk for the baby, clothing, health care, and of course taxes. College was a time of "free thinking", we as college students were not willing to be seen as racist (same as today), we just have not progressed that far. Students still listen to their professors and think they are "gods". Then you earn your degree and go out into the real world. Whoa, it's wake up time.

I am a student at ECU. I went to this event and I will say that very little politics were spoken of. This was not a political speech but one of leadership and how to be a effective leader. Although I may not agree with her politically the message was very good. We can all learn from each other by getting past our political prejudices.

I am solider from eastern, nc. I think all the political views should just come to a pause. Wake up we got a war going on. Stop using money in other countries, how about our economy, our people. Don't get me wrong helping people in Haiti is good. But we are also forgetting about ourselves as a AMERICANS. He should be more focused on his own country than pleasing all middle east countries, and apologizing for out past. If wasn't for our ancestors he probley wouldn't be sitting that office right. He needs to pull the e-brake. and change to some of his ways.

How many college kids actually pay taxes. They don't yet know that Obama is robbing them. And yes I remember at that age I wanted to change the world too. Well Obama gave us change. 6 percent unemployment to over 10 percent not a good change but CHANGE all the same. Keep voting Dumbocrat and soon there will be more change. Soup lines coming soon to a town near you.
