Greenville Police Nab Cocaine And Shooting Suspects

Three men are facing serious charges after a shooting incident outside a restaurant in the east.

Greenville police say two men got into an argument with three men outside the Cookout restaurant on South Memorial Drive early Sunday morning.

When the suspects began waving guns around, the victims fled in a vehicle. The suspects then fired into the vehicle. None of the victims were hit.

22 year old Darius Lindsey and 22 year old Kevin Carr were arrested and charged with numerous offenses including shooting into an occupied vehicle.

32 year old Raymark Bembury of Edenton was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine among other charges as well.

Police say Bembury was in a vehicle Lindsey fled in. Bond for the suspects is not known at this time.

Great job, PD! Get them all off the street so the courts can slap their wrists and let them go. I hope they get put away for a long, long time. Darren, I wouldn't want them in our military. It's obvious that they cannot shoot since they hit nothing in this case. They would only be a target for the Taliban. Wait a minute, maybe we could send them over there....

I agree with Darren. Quit loading up our jails with wanna be thugs. If you are caught send them on the next available flight to Iraq. If you make it out of there alive, don't come home. Stay and live in your new country.

I have a good idea. Sentence these dumb punks to go of to war in Iraq/Afghanistan. If they want to start shooting then they might as well go in the military, or is it that they are that stupid to wave a gun and have the drugs on them at the same time.
