Greenville Police Nab Cocaine And Shooting Suspects

Three men are facing serious charges after a shooting incident outside a restaurant in the east.

Greenville police say two men got into an argument with three men outside the Cookout restaurant on South Memorial Drive early Sunday morning.

When the suspects began waving guns around, the victims fled in a vehicle. The suspects then fired into the vehicle. None of the victims were hit.

22 year old Darius Lindsey and 22 year old Kevin Carr were arrested and charged with numerous offenses including shooting into an occupied vehicle.

32 year old Raymark Bembury of Edenton was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine among other charges as well.

Police say Bembury was in a vehicle Lindsey fled in. Bond for the suspects is not known at this time.
