Pitt Community College says an alleged sexual assault reported last month on campus never happened.
College police say after an extensive investigation by their department and the SBI, no assault took place.
On December 1st a female student reported that she was attacked in a parking lot outside of the Fulford Building. The college says no charges will be brought against the student for filing the false report. PCC says instead it is handling the matter through internal disciplinary procedures.
Ironically, the day that the alleged sexual assault was reported at PCC was the same day that ECU announced a student there had been charged with making up a rape at the Austin Building on its campus. In that case the ECU student was charged with filing a false report.
