A man wanted for one shooting and another robbery last month in Greenville has been arrested.
Cameron Randell Whichard was arrested Tuesday near McClellan & Elks streets.
Police say the 18-year-old was wanted for the December 27th shooting on Norcott Circle in where a 14-year-old boy was injured. He is also a suspect in a December 1st robbery that happened at the corner of Pitt and Wyatt streets.
Whichard is being held without bond until his first appearance.
According to the NC Department of Corrections website, Whichard was in prison from June 2008 to May 2009 for common law robbery in Pitt County. The website lists six infractions during that time, including assault person with weapon, sexual act, involvement with gang, disobeying order and fighting.
