Airport security nationwide has been beefed up since Friday's attempted terrorist attack aboard a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit but what exactly does that mean for future travelers in the east?
According to Pitt-Greenville Airport Manager Jerry Vickers holiday travel has run extremely smoothly so far this holiday season.
There haven't been any problems so far and flights have been landing and taking off on time.
Vickers says passengers probably won't see any major changes at the airport since safety has always been P.G.V.'s top priority.
Vickers tells us passengers should be ready for different kinds of changes at airports around the country, but wasn't specific.
He did advise passengers to leave some extra time for their travels.
