Hundreds of people arrived at Goody's in Greenville Wednesday morning to pick up toys for their loved ones from the Salvation Army.
This Christmas because of the help of volunteers around 1,800 to 1,9000 kids will receive gifts in Pitt County that might not have gotten any otherwise.
Families that arrived to pick up the toys for their kids said they were very grateful.
Ida Warren said because of the recession she couldn't afford toys for her three kids and now it's a relief to know they'll have something to open Christmas morning.
350 to 400 bags of toys were give out.
Salvation Army Workers say they want to thank all the volunteers who gave gifts and their time.
