I actually did not have to look at the pictures to know who they were. The point wasn't that the pictures are available. The point was that it is not the main factor. If these boys are innocent I wish them well. I hope that it changed some of their lives in a positive way.

My opion is (since everbody seems to have one)wait and see what the evidence say before going and judging these young guys. If they did it then they will get there punishment if they didn't then they was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. And to RESIDENT the victom did not identify these guys so noone knows what the faces look like. And also to the person that said these guys had something to do with the shooting in Oak City, that too is also false. The suspected of that incident is already in jail. And two of the guys I know for a FACT where not in town during that incident. They did not caught at the house standing over the man with the gun in there hand. So let the evidence speak and everybody else can shut up. If they did it justice will be served. If they didn't( and yes I do beleive they didn't) then then I am grateful that they are inicent. This will give them a learning experience either way.

Reality, I'm with you. I abhor the unmitigated gall of "concern mama", (which most would say concerned mama), to automatically assume everyone feels all black males are guilty. It is racism in its worst form. Those with any grain of intelligence weigh the facts of the situation and then form an opinion. Apparently many of the people within this forum know one or more of the people involved and their propensity for irreverent behavior. Concern Mama is simply playing the race card as a ruse to deflect the true situation. As said before, she refuses to be confused with the truth or facts. Fantasy and self opinion are all that is necessary in her world where all who do not agree are racists.

I don't see any pictures of black males. I see a picture of a police car. What color the victim or the criminals were is of little concern to anyone. Why must you try make this something it isn't. If these boys were not there to rob him I would be surprised. If I am wrong then what were they doing there? Perhaps they were there trying to buy something they shouldn't have. I would love to know why you seem to think that these young men didn't do this. Were you there? Why tell me not to judge and then judge me?

Just like these people talk and put your trust in the lord. All these people see is black males. They don't know what really happen, but just as soon as a black male face appear on this site they are guilty in their eyes.

Correction and Reality: You are both exactly right in your respective posts. It is too bad some people just do not want to be confused by the facts! Self perception and self made realities are a far more appealing and comfortable place in which to live. I guess that "concern mama" views Oak City as the Lake Wobegone of NC. You know, where all the men are strong, all the women are good looking and all the children are above average.
