Task Force Makes Two Arrests, Seizes Kilo Of Cocaine

Two men are behind bars in Greenville, charged with trafficking cocaine worth more than $100,000.

Friday, the Greenville Drug Task Force arrested 25-year-old Alejandro Solis From Grimesland Bridge Road in Grimesland, and 23-year-old Pedro Avila from Barrus Construction Road in Greenville. Both are charged with trafficking cocaine. Each were locked up under a $2,000,000 secured bond.

Lawmen say 1100 grams, or one kilo, of cocaine was confiscated.

The Greenville Drug Task Force is comprised of officers from the SBI, Greenville Police Department, Pitt County Sheriff’s Office, Winterville Police Department, Farmville Police Department, Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office, Kinston Police Department, and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

    I think they need to stay in jail for a long time. I can't believe Mr. Solis didn't learn his lesson. He has a brother in jail for selling drugs also.

    Oh, its not enough they come to our country illegally. Thats not good enough. NOW they come with all their thugs! WHERE IS THE WALL TO BLOCK THE ILLEGALS OUT?!

    U do realize they would have made much more on the product. They would have "stomped it out" and it would have been about 1/3 something else.

    Sorry to inform you, but 95% of all cocaine and heroin is inported through Mexico. Cocaine is not made here. It is made in South America. Unlike the Miami Vice days, not many white or black people are the big king pins. Now it is run by the Mexican Cartels. Times have changed.

    Hey MadMax, Did a school teacher steal a toy or something from you when you were a kid? We should have a little more faith in those that put there lives on the line for us everyday. Great thanks to the task force officers that worked hard to put these to criminals in jail!
