Unk's Shuts Down

A Greenville bar closed down this week for months as the owner waits for the economy to improve.

Unk's restaurant and bar shut down according to owner Jeremy Spengeman to pay down debt.

He says he'll remodel parts of the building during that time and consider a new business plan.

Spengeman says he'll remain shut down for 3 or 4 months if not more.

While an ongoing dispute with Greenville City Council about zoning didn't cause his problems, Spengeman says it didn't help.

Ah I see. Could be the reason he put Unk's down, to focus on one task at the time. Was probably more costly to operate Unk's.
