Greenville Armed Robbery

Greenville Police are looking for a suspect who held up a convenience store Tuesday night.

It happened around 10:00 P.M. at the Trade Wilco Hess on Greenville Boulevard.

Officers say the man walked in wearing a ski mask armed with a handgun, demanded money and took off with undisclosed amount of money.

No one was hurt in the armed robbery.

    "You mean to tell me all of those police cars that we are wasting are tax money on, just sitting at a convenience store, are not deterring crime? I'm shocked." People can be quite stupid, and criminals are no exception. I recall a story of a guy that had to walk around a MARKED cruiser in order to enter a GUN SHOP that he wanted to rob - with predictable, and somewhat hilarious results. I wonder if he at least got a Darwin Award for his troubles.
