Thought Pitt county law enforcment had gotten a handle on robberies of convenience stores. The clerks will need bullet proof glass if things keep getting worse. ECU class of '79

We could eliminate 99% of crime in this country within a month, if we stopped coddling criminals such as this, and instead execute them. Not by sleepytime, gentle "lethal injection" either, but by Medieval methods. If we put these petty thieves on the rack, or better yet in the iron maiden, those inclined to do more severe crimes would think twice, knowing that their punishment would be even less gentle. As a further deterrent, this would all be televised, pay-per-view, with all proceeds going to pay off the huge debt that Obama has put us into.

"Wouldn't it be more newsworthy if a night passed when a Pitt County convenience store wasn't held up at gunpoint? " 1 Ted...I think you may be on to something here! I have lived in a couple of large cities, but this TOWN has a crime problem. I have only been here a couple of months. Has it always been this bad?

To Ted: I think we both are on the same thinking. It is just a matter of time before a cashier will get hurt or even be killed (God Forbid) for a much smaller amount of money. I do hope Pitt county law enforcement can protect our cashiers much better.

Held up? Or was there a holdup? Holdup:it's a noun. If there was a holdup, then that would be a story. If the store were held up, that'd be a heck of a story.
