ESPN Makes C.M. Eppes Kids Stars!

While the football team prepares for their championship match up against Houston on Saturday...Friday it was about getting the fans hyped up about the game. And for some younger pirate fans, they're getting an opportunity of a lifetime.

Students from CM Eppes were asked by ESPN to show their pirate spirit, and they didn't disappoint.

They'll be featured during the live telecast on Saturday.

But on ECU's campus, the marching band, cheerleaders and the dance team hyped up the college crowds.

Athletic Director, Terry Holland and Coach Skip Holtz came out to encourage the fans to fill the seats for this historic championship game in Greenville.

Holtz talked about the cold rain forecasted and said it could actually help them more than hinder.

Hey, all you computer nerds! Support your local teams. Not only do they play this difficult sport on their weekends, but they also attend school curriculum during the week, and their parents send lots of money to ECU. They are awesome young people, and deserve our support.

My husband will absolutely be watching this game, but from home. We hope the Pirates win, and will watch for the kids featured on the ESPN segment. Go Pirates!
