Big Weekend In Greenville!

East Carolina University will host the conference USA Championship game in Greenville, for the first time ever.

At the same time, the Christmas Parade will march through downtown, making this a busy weekend in the city.

For businesses, fans are starting to gear up for the game buying championship shirts along with purple and gold ponchos.

Inside Dowdy Ficklen Stadium the field gets a face lift.

As Conference USA rules advise, the hosting team has to appear neutral.

So announcements of "first down pirates" and the song "purple haze" may not be heard during this game Saturday, the athletics department says it doesn't mean the fans can't display their purple pride.

After you pick up those bottles and cans take them over to the recycling station and get a few bucks for them and then apply that to your taxes! Or better yet buy yourself a gift and try to make your bitter self smile.

I meant to say, "...but the events will also be bringing much WANTED revenue by all the thugs to all the thugs" All they do is take take take from all of us hard working civilized individuals.

These events will bring much needed revenue to Greenville yes, but the events will also be bringing much needed revenue to all the thugs...and yes they will be waiting; unfortunately...that's just the way Greenville is. Everyday homes are either broken into or people are robbed and things are stolen. :(
