Holiday travel was keeping the Pitt-Greenville airport busy Wednesday as many college students are off to celebrate turkey day.
Airport officials say they were at about 90 percent capacity on Tuesday. By the end of the day Wednesday they expect that to be 100 percent.
Many of the people jumping on flights are students trying to make it home. About 5 or 6 flights leave the airport daily, and officials say just about all of the 50 seats per plane are gone.
The busy scene locally differs from what many major airports are seeing with fewer people overall taking to the skies this Thanksgiving.
