Greenville Rain

Rain, rain, and more rain. That's what people across the east experienced Wednesday and in downtown Greenville many people they have the rainy day blues.

There was hardly anyone walking around downtown, most were inside trying to stay warm and dry.

Meanwhile on ECU's campus students who had to venture out for class were prepared. Many had umbrellas and of course rain boots.

There was no flooding reported in Pitt County Wednesday.

But forecasters say the rain will continue and that may cause problems for people Thursday.

I just took a walk down College Hill Drive at ECU and the little creek that runs down there has grown since I went to class at 3. I think ECU needs to at least supply a delay for classes because unless the rain ceases anytime soon I think we are going to have a flood down there.

I thought that too when I lived in the Bay area... But I now realize it could be worse. You could be stuck in a drought-stricken desert. I am. lol I do seriously empathize though - been there, done that. Seems like we can't strike a happy medium lately with the weather.
