Eastern Carolina After Dark

Sometimes there's nothing like a good slice of pizza, especially late at night. And one of the best things about pizza is that you can get it delivered!

In this installment of Eastern Carolina After Dark Brittany Gunter spends the night learning about one delivery guy in Greenville.

I must agree with Allison, Franks Pizza in Washington is great! They have a thin crust that isn't replicated anywhere.

The south tries to make Pizza. I live here now in Chocowinity. When I go back to see family in Tony Suprano land the first thing I get is a real pie.

Blackbeards Slices and Ices in Bath is by far the best pizza south of the Mason Dixon Line. Get "The Works" Great Pie!!!

Franks Pizza is my favorite around here! Freschetta frozen pizza isn't bad either...& I haven't had Boli's pizza in Greenville in so long I don't know how it is now.

Pizza Hut used to be my favorite but I went to Pizza Hut a couple months ago and it was awful. We took one bite and knew something was different. I talked to the manager and she told me they had recently quit making the hand tossed dough at the store and it was coming in frozen now. She said others had complained also.

Who serves the best pizza in Eastern NC, and why? I prefer Pizza Hut - Meat Lover's is a good pizza, and they're the only place I know of that does cheese-stuffed crust (besides DiGiorno frozen pizzas, but those are nasty). A bit expensive, but a nice treat when I can afford to do it. And the pizzas from the Walmart deli are a lot better than you might think. But I'd like to try a new place, so who do y'all recommend?
