She's on the board of directors for DARE- Drug Abuse Resistance Education, yet she's charged with supplying alcohol to a 20 year-old.
Deputy Amanda Tyndall was due in court Tuesday. She works for the Pitt County Sheriff's Office. State agents arrested Tyndall in September for an incident at Tie Breakers in Greenville in June. Tyndall is on the DARE Board of Directors.
Her court date has been rescheduled for January 5th.
Tyndall is the second person connected to the Sheriff's Office to face arrest this year.
In July former Lt. Michelle Pollard was indicted after an SBI investigation into whether she tipped off the target of a drug investigation.
