"Get Out and Vote" Rally

Municipal elections take place in several counties Tuesday, but for one community a rally to encourage voters to participate Tuesday was held Monday.

It was called the "Get Out and Vote" rally.

Candidates on Tuesday's ballot joined citizens at the Sycamore Church in Greenville to encourage everybody to exercise their right to vote in Tuesday's election.

The rally included speakers, dancers, and singing performances to inspire people to be involved in local politics.

One citizen believes the rally will help get people pumped up about the election.

The polls open Tuesday morning at 6:30 AM and will close at 7:30 PM.

Am I wrong to assume this "church" works under an ACORN clause?

Sycamore Church? The IRS needs to investigate this and pull the church's non-profit status. In order to meet that status an organization must NOT engage in political wrangling such as this. You will not find politics discussed or promoted for either part or any candidate in any way at a "Friends of NRA" banquet for this very reason. So why should a church be any different?
