Greenville Boulevard Accident Sends 3 To Hospital

Police say a red Camero struck an SUV causing the the SUV to rollover a few times in the middle of the road.

It happened when the Camero was pulling out of the Best Western Hotel on Greenville Boulevard near the 10th Street intersection.

Crews closed off part of Greenville Boulevard while the clean-up took place.

Police say the driver of the Camero along with the driver and passenger from the SUV were taken to Pitt County Memorial Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say there are charges pending against the driver of the Camero.

    Maybe if folks would stop driving up to that stoplight as if they were on fire and the only water in town was at Burger King we wouldn't have these accidents there all the time. Geez, haven't ya'll ever realized it doesn't matter if you pass me going 80 MPH...I still pull up next to you at the 10th Street light (and usually leave you sitting still behind the other law-abiding citizen in your lane). Just a thought...

    Wow - WITN should put a traffic cam at this place with all the accidents occuring there. Guess the Hastings Ford towtruck has a captive audience there. Hang up the phone and DRIVE people!

    It looks like a Camaro to me. I haven't seen a Camero on the road.

    It def. looked as if the red camero was at fault but I didn't see it when it happened, I was there when those injured were being placed in the ambulance.
