Leaders at a local church say they asked God to find those stealing from area churches, and he delivered.
Pastor Bobby Holloway and his wife Elaine from Prophetic Ministries Church in Greenville had thanks and praise now that the suspects in 19 area church burglaries are behind bars.
Police arrested 36 year-old Vidal Brevard and 17 year-old Lydia Crespo after a patrol officer noticed both were carrying laptops on bicycles. The laptops were stolen property of Trinity FWB Church in Greenville.
Elaine Holloway says she prayed for the arrests. "This is what I told the Lord. I said Lord, they are stealing your stuff. And you know their names and address."
Pastor Holloway says, "We forgive them. We're not jumping up and down about it, because of what we miss. But we forgive em."
Holloway says forgiveness may come from the Lord--but the law of the land will present justice.
