Cancer Awareness Event At ECU

Students and faculty came together at ECU Wednesday to bring attention to all different types of cancer.

Students and faculty could walk down the hallway of the Bate building and learn about many different types of cancers.

Georgia Childs, the Assistant Director of Peer Health at ECU, says she hopes the display brings more awareness towards how to detect cancer early and that cancer can affect all age groups, including college students.

There were 14 different booths set up.
