One elementary school's administrators and cleaning crews were up late Monday night, after a young deer broke into the school in Greenville.
Elmhurst Elementary in Greenville had an uninvited guest Monday evening. A janitor told police that a young buck broke through some windows of the school, did some damage in one section of classrooms and broke back out through other windows. In all, about six windows were destroyed. The "break in" happened well after the school day was over. No one was hurt.
