3 Armed Men Rob Greenville KFC

Some frightening moments for employees at a local fast food restaurant in Greenville Thursday night.

Police say just after 9:30pm, three men armed with handguns walked into the Kentucky Fried Chicken fast food chain near Greenville Boulevard and Tenth Street.

They say employees fled the restaurant and no one was injured as the assailants made off with an undetermined amount of cash.

Those 3 guys that stole the ATM's where white, yes...but I'd rather them steal an ATM machine than have 3 black thugs point a gun at me and rob me at gun point!

Crime in Greenville shouldn't be news anymore, it's just the way things are. It's kinda like reporting that the grass was green in Greenville today.

It came from the residents of east Greenville going to west greenville and getting the drugs that they need to use in the comfort of their own homes. They encourage the "element" to come into their homes so that they can get their drugs without having to drive over to the west side to get it.

To Anonymous, as a life long resident of this town I FREAKIN KNOW where the majority of crime comes from. I grew up in east Greenville, and I have watched east Greenville turn into a dump over the last 10-15 years. And guess when it started? You should have enough gray matter between your ears to figure it out.

Why do white people always assume the criminals are black? I guess those 3 guys that stole the ATM was light skin brothers.

For such a small town Greenville has way too much crime. If you think otherwise you have blinders on. Greenville use to have one area that whas pretty bad. Now the whole City is that ONE area! AS far as I'm concerned developers building these apartment complexes all over the City are too blame. When the college kids move out to go to a NEWER complex the older complexes are turned into Section 8. Thus the criminal element moves in. Get Real!

To come on Oct 2 @ 11:05...You have a point. Although you must not have caught the 'chief' of police telling our community that "It isn't as bad as you think".

Umm yes I have traveled all over the US and the world. Never do I feel unsafe because I make sure I am not in the bad part of town. Here it doesn't matter where you are the thugs are taking over. So stop trying to make it seem like there isn't a huge problem.

Do you people read news about any other city, or have you been anywhere else. If you think this is just in Greenville you are seriously misinformed.
