Man Robbed By Teenagers; One Suspect Is 14

Two young men are behind bars after allegedly attacking another man.

Greenville Police Department says that 21 year old David Lorbacher was walking around Evans and Arthur Streets when he was approached by two suspects.

Police say Lorbacher was beaten then robbed of his cell phone.

While getting a description from the victim, other officers stopped a 14 year old male and 17 year old Freddi Anthony.

The two matched the description of who police were looking for.

Both have been charged with strong armed robbery and are being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.

The 14 year old could not be identified due to his young age.

greenville is not as bad as many of you are claiming. it was worse back around the early 90s. you people are acting as if you're going to get shot if you go to the store. greenville is not compton. crime is everywhere and it happens all the time. more crime happens, as it's not reported most of the time, in areas where many of you would REALLY be afraid of but it only gets this publicity when it happens close to downtown. i live in stokes and i'm in greenville everyday and the only time i don't feel safe is driving home at 3 in the morning and a police car is behind me so i guess different are bothered by different things. (and yes that's my real name, i don't hide behind an alias. no need to)

Real Justice-What I meant was with the Chief of Police stated "crime isn't bad as we think". That would make him dishonest or you could say a lier. Which ever wording you prefer.

went to gvegas to shop yesterday (labor day). sitting on bench in mall. approached by male 18-20 asked if he could talk to me. scared the heck outta me.. said he was required to talk to 15-20 for a class contest but was aggressive and pushy. got agitated when i walked away. then 20 min later a male approached my car window at KK donut parking lot. have no idea what he wanted. i think he was with someone in drivethru in a brown car with the hershey with almonds logo. We left the parking lot without eating the donut. I was never so glad to leave greenville. wish my niece would hurry and graduate from ECU because I am scared for her life over there. Felt a little guilty that i didn't feel comfortable speaking with these people... but also do not want to be a victim.. has anyone else had this happen?

To Real Justice: What I was trying to say was his recent statement of "it isn't as bad" as we think. Defend him if you like and I am well aware of our joke of a court system.

Not only the ghetto parts as you put it. Anywhere at night. Nobody should walk late at night.

Alot of people as teen and adults have done something they were not proud of. And some of us have turn our lives around. Instead of putting teens or other people down why not talk to them. Some will actually listen. Obama is trying to make that step, but people are just complaining. If Obama is not doing a satisfactory job than how about some you talking to the kids. You could make a different and feel good about yourselves.

To Hello: guess what? I go to Goldsboro 5 days a week for work and live in Greenville. Is Goldsboro safe? Yes Greenville is safe; no worse off than Goldsboro but crime is everywhere. Just don't catch yourself walkin down the ghetto parts of Greenville at 0130 hours and you will be fine.
