Firefighters in one Eastern Carolina city were out collecting for a good cause today.
The Greenville Firefighters Association took to the pavement today at the Target shopping center, collecting money for "Jerry's Kids", an association that helps kids suffering from muscular dystrophy.
According to organizers efforts have raised around $2,000. The collection goal is to hopefully reach $10,000. 15 members of the association were out with fire boots in hand collecting today.
Anyone looking to do their part can head out there tomorrow and donate.
