Richardson No Show In Court Wednesday

The man charged with shooting two people to death outside a night club in Greenville didn't appear in court Wednesday morning.

32 year-old James "LJ" Richardson is charged with the drive by shooting murders of Landon Blackley, an ECU student, and Andrew Kirby, a downtown restaurant manager.

They were killed in the early morning hours of June 30th outside The Other Place night club on Fifth Street in Greenville, Richardson is charged with two counts of murder.

Richardson was scheduled to appear for a probable cause hearing, but his attorney did not request he be brought over from the jail.

There's no immediate word on a new court date for the man.

This is TopCop....I don't know who your source of information is or where u are getting it from but from your info. Lj is on 23 hour lockdown. He is only allowed out 1 hour everyday. In that hour he is able to meet with his lawyer and call family and friends. He is not even allowed around other inmates so your ignorant comment about doing bubbas laundry is inaccurate sir! He is never down and is always in good spirits. He works out and reads and is continuing to work on biz plans that he didn't have time to do when he was a free man. We can not go off of he say she say. He is innocent until proven guilty. I'm not saying he is right in any way but we all need to just wait it out and see exactly what evidence is presented, and a weapon with finger prints or something is found. Lj is not in any way a hateful person and doesn't have that type of personality at all. Sometimes we just end up in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong person!!!

ANNA, hate to tell you this, but your wrong. The bouncers threatened to call 911 if he didn't leave. Not one of them touched him except to lead him out of a club where he was pushing his "I'm superbad" attitude around. His friends that were with him weren't kicked out, just Richardson was. Now, just to let you, ANNA, understand this, there is a reason why they didn't arrest his friends. They are going to testify against him for what he has done. Not one of them wants to go to jail for something that Richardson did. Richardson has been on a downward spiral for the past 2, 2.5 years. It's what happens when you run out of options in life and only a bleak future ahead of yourself. He's not the typical killa type. He has a college education for goodness sake. Was it drugs? Whatever the reason, innocent lives were lost.......families hurt beyond HURT; including his own. To any member of Richardson's family who reads these posts, LJ had everything going for him. WHY????

we are made to believe that Richardson being kicked out of the club was it. But no one has stated how he was beaten by 8-10 bouncers and others jumped in to help him, some he knew, some he didn't.It was a big fight, with a lot of people involved. so he wasn't the only person with motive that nite. hope they arrested the right person...we will see?

Funny how the news reported Richardson was not brought over to the courthouse for his hearing, when in court the judge, Judge Vincent, removed himself from hearing the case, Hmmmmmmmmmm! Wonder why there are two different reasons for not having this hearing which he wanted and was prepared for??????????

Police don't make mistakes, you're either slow or stupid. richardson states he did not do it, police states he did.. we will see! for all who thought he missed court on his own, how can you arrive at an opinion when you can't even read, hahaha! he needs another attorney, how could he forget to have him brought to court.

How is it that he didn't show up? Isn't he in custody? If it is his lawyer's fault for not having him brought over then the lawyer should be charged with contempt for wasting tax payers money!

What is sad is not only has this fella caused pain to the victims families, but to his own for a stupid act of anger that in the end resulting in nothing but the loss of life and his freedom. Looking back on his actions- I wonder if he thinks it was worth it. Hopefully not, but he has many years to determine that.
