Try sitting in court or going on the NCDOC you will find just as many whites as blacks. I know I looked at the DOC list myself. You need to check your statistics again.

Just in my neighborhood in the past 6 days I know of 2 people personally whose homes were broken into. One of them was the second time in 2 years that they had been robbed.

The figures are always adjusted some. The murder rate is the only one that can't be changed.

I spoke before I really looked at the numbers. In terms of violent crime Greenville's numbers looked pretty good compared to others. Greenville was down in murder, rape, and robbery. Greenville had 6 murders and 13 rapes in 2008. Asheville had 33 rapes!! Concord had 9 murders and 19 rapes. High Point had 11/29. Rocky Mount had 14/29. Wilmington 12/49. Burglary and larceny went up but when murder and rape go down by that much, That is not a bad trade.

The reduction in crime has been occuring everywhere they allow law abiding citizens better access to guns. Of course except in Greenville where we have ineffective leadership.
