Hundreds Protest In Greenville Against Obama's Health Care Reform

A tour bus criss crossing North Carolina opposing the President's health care plan was in our area Saturday and hundreds turned out in support of the cause.

About 500 protesters circled around a hands off our health care tour bus in Greenville Saturday afternoon. The organization, Americans for Prosperity made a stop in the Arlington Business Park hoping residents would sign a petition that's going to be sent to congress, against the President's health care reform.

Most participants we spoke to say they think some of their freedoms are being taken away and no one is giving them answers about the measure, including North Carolina lawmakers but also say they don't want to be portrayed as a group that would turn to violence to get their point across.

The tour bus also stopped in Washington Saturday morning and held a rally at Stewart Parkway.

Did some of you know that Pelosi and Reid have rekindled the "public option"? Pelosi wants to rename it since it has a bad stigma attached to it. Fix what we have, don't reinvent it. Apparently, this new healthcare bills are bigger the last, more complicated and more expensive. Catch it on Fox news stations, the idiots are trying it again!

Dear angry at white racists. Please do not have sex with men just because they are nice to you no matter what color they are! You might end up pregnant! Oh, you are. Im sure it will be a beautiful baby and 'nice' like one of the nice men you had sex with. I still don't know what your comment had to do with this article but I hope I could give you some good advice. God Bless you and try to get that anger thing under control before the baby comes.

People, the issue is cash and vision. So far, what is being offered doesn't embrace either one. I support health care reform, but only with tort reform. The simple reason for the high cost of health care is every one running off to find a lawyer over the most trite little detail that looks like retirement in the Bahamas! Every other American's middle name should be 'Sue'. Do you realize America has enough lawyers for the entire world ? ... and not enough doctors for half the nation. Do you want to know what socialized medicine is like? Ask a vet that depends on the VA for medical treatment. This isn't 'Obamabashing', this is sensibility awakening. There has to be tort reform and so long as our politicians are in bed with all the nation's lawyers, that simply isn't going to happen. You also, aren't going to get bank reform from a president that has surrounded himself with bankers!!!

Wow, you got that right. He is lower than Carter right now and put Carter as the second to the worse president in history. Obama Haters, Bush won't come back, however, his above 50% lasted for 37 months, isn't that great?

Yeah no president with approval ratings that have dipped under 50% (Like Ronald Reagan or Bill Clinton) ever got voted in for a second term.
