A tour bus criss crossing North Carolina opposing the President's health care plan was in our area Saturday and hundreds turned out in support of the cause.
About 500 protesters circled around a hands off our health care tour bus in Greenville Saturday afternoon. The organization, Americans for Prosperity made a stop in the Arlington Business Park hoping residents would sign a petition that's going to be sent to congress, against the President's health care reform.
Most participants we spoke to say they think some of their freedoms are being taken away and no one is giving them answers about the measure, including North Carolina lawmakers but also say they don't want to be portrayed as a group that would turn to violence to get their point across.
The tour bus also stopped in Washington Saturday morning and held a rally at Stewart Parkway.
