Robersonville Murder Suspect Charged In Greenville Shooting

A man already under arrest for a murder in Martin County has now been charged in a shooting that happened in Greenville earlier that same day.

Greenville police say warrants have been obtained against Dontae Brown for the July 31st shooting on Roosevelt Avenue.

Police say Darnell Carr and Marion Andrews were in a vehicle on the street around 2:45 a.m. when they were approached by two people from a vehicle that was stopped in front of them. One of the people showed a handgun and fired into the vehicle. Carr was hit in the face.

The 24-year-old Brown is charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapons and one count of attempted murder.

Police say they have no motive for the Greenville shooting.

Brown was arrested Sunday for the murder of Brent Sherod that happened on North Everett Street Friday.

Hair can look like a dirty, uncared for mop that has never seen one drop of soap or bleach.

"In the Dark?", there is a good reason for that. ECU students are usually law abiding citizens who are not bothering other people in any way. These other guys are street thugs who are a burden to society, costing us tons of money in social and criminal justice programs. They are worthless dead beats who rob good people, including ECU students, of their freedom, liberty, money and peace of mind. The huge uproar that you are hearing now is nothing compared to what you are going to hear if politicians don't give law enforcement the authority to come down hard on these worthless thug turds. Good people are tired of this trash ruining innocent people's lives.

Sounds as if a couple of them didn't have much of a dad to begin with. No-working, trouble making street thugs are not ideal fathers. They set a bad example for the kids and often the children grow to be little thugs just like mummy and daddy.
