A Pitt County Sheriff's Office incident report states a 16 year-old girl was raped Saturday morning at her home.

The father of the girl tells WITN the family is familiar with the person who allegedly raped his daughter.

"He knocked on her window looking for her sister", says the victims father. He goes on to say the man pulled his daughter out of the window and then raped her on the side of the house.

He says eventually his daughter would climb back through the window for safety.

The victims father says there were other people in the home at the time but they were sleeping.

As of 1pm Sunday no arrests had been made in the case.
The incident report says the person will be charged with second degree rape.

If this story was true and they know who the guy is, there would be more to this story by now. This one will probably fade away, with never an update. Fishy doesn't begin to describe this nonsense.

something like this was happening where i use to live in pitt co. a guy kept going around knocking on young girls windows and trying to get them to open the doors late at night. cops were called so many times but they could not catch the suspects. One time a girl was talking to the man telling him to leave or she would scream and the father over heard thinking she was on the cell and barged in; saving her life it sounds like. I hope this is not any of my former neighbors this finally happened to. I think the press should release the neighborhood info imediatly so surrounding parents can be more aware. Our thoughts are with this girl!

TO TAD, i agree with you. something doesn't seem right about this. they are charging second degree rape. that means that she had to be forced into intercourse and that she had to be mentally handicapped or mentally incapacitated or physically helpless, one of the 3.no weapon or others involved or told he had a weapon or it would fall under 1st degree rape.how big was the house that no one heard noises? why did she crawl back in the window and not go to the door? just some thoughts here.

Read closer! The father did not knock on the window. The " " indicate portions of the report. The suspect knocked on the window looking for the victims sister and then raped the victim.
