Al... I am not putting down the hospital officer. I do know how it works for this award. Part of the reason he got this award is for his "masters degree". There for it payed off as I sayed in the first comment.

Wayne... I am well aware of what they call it. I was there at the award dinner along with others that could not figure out why this officer got the award. I dont need an award to feel good about my work! Thanks for your concern in the matter...

I work with another agency close by, but I do know that PCMH Police are real officers. They may not be "rolling around in the ditches," but they do have their share of fights and close encounters. They are in charge of the Behavorial Health Center, remember? I do not personally know this officer, but he must've done something to earn this honor. It's just too bad it will be forgotten in a matter of weeks when you get frustrated because he saved your life by writing you a ticket. I have had PCMH Officers back me up numerous times and they are just as hard-working and professional as any other agency in Pitt County. As a matter of fact, they seem to be the only department not tangled up in scandle this summer!

The hospital is different than county or city departments. It does have 6000 employees there. It gets all the crime victims seriouly injured and their criminal visitors which has led to arrest also. Some from out of state. I know Brian and he is an example of what a great law enforcement officer should be. I congratulate him on this well deserved honor.
