Second Candidate Files For Greenville Mayor

The race for mayor of one eastern Carolina city is starting to heat up.

Minnie Johnson Anderson 64 years-old, filed for the mayor of Greenville Tuesday challenging incumbent Pat Dunn. Dunn has also filed papers to run again.

Anderson feels that it is time for change and that she would be able to faithfully serve the people of Greenville.

Anyone interested in running for municipal office has until Friday at noon to file papers.

    It's not just Greenville. Look at all of the old geezers in Washington DC. With the exception of Obummer, who is a real dud, they look as if they have one foot in the coffin already.

    Greenville needs some young faces in office. Those old people we put in office are really slowing down the growth of Greenville. We need some new and sharp minds.
