It was an exciting night of baseball at Greenville's Guy Smith Stadium Complex. In the first semi-final game, 3 seed Ward's faced the 7 seeded Homebuilders team. Homebuilders was winning for most of the game but Wards came back and took the lead in the top of the 7th. Homebuilders scored two in the bottom of the seventh to secure the win for pitcher Will Tugwell.
The nightcap featured #4 Bowen Cleaners against top seeded East Carolina Chrysler Dodge. Bowen Cleaners jumped out to a 7-2 lead behind a strong pitching performance from Stephen Becker. East Carolina Chrysler Dodge started chipping away at the lead and tied it up at 11-11 in the bottom of the sixth. Gray Dixon put Bowen Cleaners away in the top of the seventh setting the stage for EC Chrysler Dodge. Pinch Runner Jeffrey Rawls scored the winning run to punch EC Chrysler Dodge's ticket to Friday's Championship Game.
