Car Goes Up In Flames

A car in Greenville burst into flames after the driver says she smelled smoke.

It happened on May street right behind the Piggly-Wiggly in Greenville.

A driver of a white sedan says she pulled over after her brakes made a burning smell. The driver says she went inside to call a family member, and when she came out, her car was in flames.

The Greenville Fire Department says its investigating the cause of the fire. No one was injured.

    I hate that for the woman but glad that she made it out alive and not hurt. To Bob, that is a recipe for a potential disaster and hope it did'nt happen to them either.

    Saw a car the other day driving from Washington to Greenville on US 264 with fire under the car. I tried to turn around, but he was driving alot faster than I was, couldn't catch him/her...hope they were ok.
