What does crime and the summer time have in common in the east? Authorities say when school is out, that's when they see more youths committing crimes.

We told you about an 18 year old and 14 year from Greenville facing armed robbery charges and assault for holding up drivers as they slowed down for kids playing in the street.

That's just one incident authorities have worked out since school ended 2 weeks ago.

Parents in this area, say there's not a lot of activities for them to do, so they just hang out in the street,

The Greenville Housing Authority says there are programs available that are affordable for parents.
