Residents in Greenville may see a slight change in their utility bill this year.
The Greenville City Council voted Thursday night to approve rate increases proposed by Greenville Utilities.
The rate adjustments include a 4.9 percent bump in sewer effective on July first.
GUC says the average customer will see a $1.37 spike in their monthly bill.
Electric is expected to go up as of October first.
Customers will feel an impact of $3.67 on average.
There were no rate adjustments for water or gas.
