Hit & Run Injures Two

Highway Patrol troopers need your help finding a hit and run driver that sent two people to the hospital.

Troopers say it happened just before 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon outside of Greenville.

A 2005 Pontiac traveling west on U.S. 13 near Allen Rd. struck a truck when it turned into its line of travel and then kept going.

The driver of the car and her passenger were taken to the hospital.

Authorities say the truck they are looking for is an older model white truck with wooden railings on the back.

Sam, Farmville, I would have your daughter contact the officer about her accident. Sounds like this could be the same person. It's always good to shake their memories when time passes.

To English Teacher, forget trying to correct someones English. That's what school is for. To Sam of Farmville, great name you got, but to answer your question, it would not surprise me if it is the same guy. I hope they catch that truck driver and lock him/her up in the slammer.

The grammer of the WITN online writers never ceases to amaze me. "driver that send two people" , "it turned into it's line" , "passenger, were taken "
